BSc Occupational Therapy

Course Overview

The BSc Occupational Therapy at Coventry University prepares students to work with individuals, groups and communities to promote health and wellbeing through participation in everyday activities, or occupations. Students will have the ability to think creatively, challenge where needed, advocate and empower others to live their best lives.

Students will learn how to empower and support individuals facing challenges in key areas of occupation such as self-care, managing finances, working or studying, and engaging in activities that develop social connections and provide a sense of purpose.

Graduates of the programme will be eligible to apply for professional registration as an occupational therapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and membership of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT) and the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT).
