BEng Aerospace Technology

Course Overview

Coventry University’s BEng Aerospace Technology is a four-year postgraduate course that prepares students for a career in the aerospace industry. The foundation year builds skills in mathematics, physics, and engineering, to help students understand how aircraft design works and support entry into the main degree.

The degree covers aircraft systems, propulsion, aerodynamics, and design. Students learn about the design, operation, and management of aircraft, with a focus on the challenges associated with aerospace. Learning is delivered through lectures, laboratories, workshops, and seminars. Assessment includes coursework, exams, phase tests, presentations, and a final-year project.

Entry Requirements for Indian Students

Grade Requirements:

  • 112 UCAS points from up to four qualifications (excluding General Studies).
  • A-levels: Grade BBC including Mathematics and one from Physics, Chemistry, or Engineering.
  • BTEC Extended Diploma or Access to HE Diploma with a minimum of 30 credits at Merit + 15 credits at Pass.
  • International Baccalaureate: Minimum of 14 points from three Higher Level subjects, including Maths with at least 4 points.

English Proficiency:

  • IELTS overall score of 6.0, with no component below 5.5.

Cost of Study
