Birmingham City University

Course overview

The Birmingham City University LLB Law programme is specifically designed to provide a strong foundation for a career in law. This course meets the requirements for the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) and also aligns with the standards set by the Bar Standards Board. It successfully balances academic study with practical application, ensuring students gain essential lawyering and transferable skills.

The curriculum covers both the theoretical aspects of law and its practical application. Innovative assessment methods are employed throughout the programme, and students are encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities such as the Mooting Society. The course also provides valuable placement opportunities with local legal providers and through the university's own Law Clinic.
