Bangor University, established in 1884, is one of the UK’s oldest and most respected higher education institutions. Entry Requirements

A recognised professional qualification combined with relevant work experience may be accepted. However, each application is assessed on individual merit, with consideration given to factors such as age, professional background, and practical experience.

Grade Requirements:

  • To be considered for the programme, applicants should hold a 2:2 honours degree in a relevant field such as Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Management from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification from another approved institution.

English Proficiency: 

  • If English is not your first language, you will need to demonstrate a sufficient level of proficiency in both written and spoken English. 
  • To show this, an IELTS overall score of 6.0, with no individual component below 5.5 is required. 
  • A Pearson PTE with a minimum score of 56, with no element lower than 51 is also accepted.

Cost of Study

The tuition fee to study an MSc in Management and Finance at Bangor University, for the 2025/2026 session, is £20,500. However, this fee is provisional and subject to change.

Scholarships

To support international students financially, Bangor University offers several scholarship opportunities. These include the Dean’s Scholarship, which awards up to £6,000 in tuition fee reductions to high-achieving students who have obtained strong academic results, such as a First or equivalent.

The Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship provides a generous £10,000 tuition fee contribution to exceptional applicants who have shown both academic strength and meaningful engagement outside the classroom.

Furthermore, all international students who are self-funding their studies are automatically considered for the International Scholarship. This award, valued at up to £4,000, is granted based on academic merit and does not require a separate application.
