MSc Advanced Immunology

The MSc in Advanced Immunology at the University of Strathclyde is a 1 year full-time course that studies the defence mechanism of the immune system of the body against disease. The course offers extensive training in life science and a wide variety of practical laboratory skills. Active researchers and practising clinical professionals teach students, and the curriculum is divided into two semesters and a summer research project.

During Semester 1, the students hone the essential skills and learn about clinical immunology and entrepreneurship. Semester 2 involves advanced subjects in four subjects, which include biochemistry, immunology, microbiology, and pharmacology. The summer research project may be a research project that is lab-based or a critical analysis of scientific articles.
