Course overview
The BA (Hons) Business Analysis and Technology & Business Enterprise course at the University of Strathclyde is a joint degree that will give you the skills to help managers make better decisions and to start your own company. It is for students who want to become leaders or create their own businesses. You will learn about business technology and how to use smart ways to solve business problems.
The course has two parts: Business Analysis & Technology and Business Enterprise. In the Business Analysis & Technology section, you will first learn about key ways to manage a business and use technology effectively. In your second and third years, you will see how to solve problems in real business situations and work in teams to develop practical skills. In your final year, you will get to work on a big project for a real company and take classes on subjects like business analytics and project management.
In the Business Enterprise part, you will take the core business classes and have the option to take others. You will also do a group project that gives you real experience in creating value through business. This course at the University of Strathclyde will get you ready for a good career in business and entrepreneurship.
Entry requirements
Grade Requirements:

Applicants are to have grades between ABB - BBB at A-levels; an International Baccalaureate of 30 to 32 points; or an HNC or HND with an A in the Graded Units.
English Proficiency:

International students whose first language is not English are required to show proficiency by having an IELTS overall score of 6.5 (or equivalent) with at least 5.5 in each component.

BBA International Scholarship
25% fee reduction per year (three years in total).
Faculty of Engineering International Scholarship for Undergraduate Study
Value: 15% of tuition fees for each year of study - typically £4,650 for first year.
Faculty of Science Undergraduate Scholarships for International Students
Scholarships of between £6,000 - £7,000 per year of study are available to new international students joining an eligible undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Science in the 2026/27 academic year.
