BSc Economics and Finance

The BSc Economics and Finance from the University of Lincoln combines economic theory with practical financial knowledge, preparing students to perform better in financial markets. The programme covers key modules such as macroeconomics, econometrics, statistics, and financial management, offering a solid foundation in both economics and finance, which helps students to analyse economic trends and develop strategies based on market behaviours.

Grade Requirements

• Applicants are expected to have 104 UCAS Tariff points from a minimum of 2 A Levels or equivalent level 3 qualifications. For BTEC Extended Diploma, candidates must have Distinction, Merit, Merit; for T-level, Merit is accepted. Furthermore, an Access to Higher Education Diploma score of 45 level 3 credits, a minimum of three credits, including a grade 6 in Maths, a 4 and one further graded at 4 or above at GCSE levels, and an International Baccalaureate score of 28 points overall is considered for application.

English Proficiency

• Candidates whose first language isn’t English must show proof of English fluency. This is demonstrated by an IELTS overall score of 6.0, with a minimum of 5.5 in each element.

The tuition fee for international students enrolling in the BSc Economics and Finance is £16,600 per level.

Eligible undergraduate students attending university for the first time can receive scholarships and bursaries to help offset tuition costs. To support students from outside the UK, the University of Lincoln offers international scholarships ranging from £1,000 up to 50% of tuition fees.
