Course overview
Advanced Clinical Practitioners are experienced clinicians who demonstrate expertise in their scope of practice related to the care of adults, children and families. They combine expert clinical skills with research, education and clinical leadership within their scope of practice. They work as part of the wider health and social care team and across traditional professional boundaries in health and social care and have a high level of autonomy and freedom to make decisions about how people should be cared for in complex and unpredictable situations. | Effective leadership begins with greater self-knowledge and this module will take the student on a journey of self-assessment, reflection and discovery in order to determine their approach to leadership and develop their effectiveness in providing direction and leading and managing others.
