Course Overview

About University

The University of Suffolk first opened in 2007 as University Campus Suffolk (UCS). It was started as a joint project by two other universities: the University of East Anglia and the University of Essex. In 2016, it became fully independent and officially changed its name to the University of Suffolk. Its main campus, or central location, is in the town of Ipswich. However, it also offers courses through partner colleges in other towns.

The University of Suffolk has quickly earned a strong reputation for its quality. It was named 'University of the Year' in 2025 by the WhatUni Student Choice Awards. Entry Requirements for Pakistani Students

Grade Requirements:

  • Applicants are required to have at least UCAS tariff points of 112. This can be obtained through qualifications such as A-level, BTECs, and International Baccalaureate.
  • In addition to the above, applicants may be expected to attend an interview.

English Proficiency:

  • Where English is not the applicant’s first language, an IELTS overall score of 6.0 with at least 5.5 in each category is required.
