MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Applications is a conversion degree for graduates without a computing science background. The curriculum is anchored on the National AI Strategy and focuses on modern artificial intelligence with a preference for intelligent agents and machine learning. Learners acquire the fundamental AI methods and ways of implementing them in a business scenario to showcase their business potential. The degree equips students with the ability to lead in the AI-based revolution of our economy and society.
Students will learn through a combination of lectures, hands-on work in the computer laboratories and tutorials. There is also the online provision of module content in a virtual learning environment, which contains recorded lectures. Each module has an assessment that is a combination of coursework and an exam that can be an individual assignment or a group assignment. The course ends with a project or dissertation done by an individual, and it has an element of original research.
