MA Intelligence and Security Studies

The MA Intelligence and Security Studies degree at the University of Salford provides a comprehensive understanding of intelligence and security issues within their historical and cultural contexts. • You will need a good honours degree, at least a second-class (2:2) degree in the social sciences or humanities, preferably in history, politics, or international relations.

English Proficiency:

• Applicants from non-English speaking backgrounds need to demonstrate English proficiency, typically with an IELTS score of 6.5 (with no element below 5.5). The university also accepts other similar English language tests and qualifications like TOEFL and PTE.

For the 2025/26 academic year, the tuition fee for full-time international students is £17,000 per year.
