MSc Neuroscience and Mental Health
Course overview
This Master's degree is very practical, allowing students to get real experience in modern research labs. The course is focused on learning about the deep link between how humans think (mental functions) and how the brain works. Students are taught to use advanced equipment like MRI scanners, brain stimulation tools, and EEG machines.
The course is taught using a mix of lectures, practical workshops, and group discussions. Students can also choose a Professional Experience Year to get valuable work experience. Everyone will complete their own research project, which helps them build important skills like analysing data, presenting scientific information clearly, and doing research ethically. These skills are vital for jobs in universities or private companies.
Entry requirements
Candidates are required to submit an application that includes their academic qualifications. The application process will consider a personal statement explaining the student's reasons for applying and any relevant academic or professional experience they have.
