BSc Business Management Top-up

The BSc Business Management (Top-up) degree at the University of Roehampton is a one-year programme that enables students to build upon their existing business knowledge through practicals with academic experts and professionals.

The curriculum encompasses responsible management, competitive advantage, evaluation of business strategies, critical thinking, responsible action, and adaptability in challenging situations, all of which contribute to organisational success across various sectors.

Teaching includes lectures and interactive seminars, while assessments are conducted through written coursework, project reports, exams, online quizzes, portfolio reviews, and practical case studies.

Candidates are required to submit a personal statement in which they discuss their reasons for applying for the course and other important information regarding their studies. A relevant academic and/or employer reference is also required. Students have the option to upload their CVs along with their applications to demonstrate their work experience.

Grade Requirements:

• Candidates need at least 240 credits from a Higher National Diploma (HND) and a foundation degree (FdA/ FdSc).
• Equivalent international qualifications in a relevant subject can also be considered. 

English Proficiency:

• Candidates from non-English speaking backgrounds need to score 6.5 overall in IELTS (with 5.5 in each section) 
• Equivalent English test scores are also accepted.

For September 2025 entry, the annual tuition fee for international students undertaking a top-up degree is £16,950.

The University of Roehampton provides scholarships and financial aid to support both UK and international students with strong academic records, talented players, and a specific scholarship just for female students. These scholarships ensure a reduction of between £2,500-£4,000 in yearly tuition fees.
