Course overview

This MSc by Thesis is a one-year, full-time research qualification offering students more academic freedom than the usual traditional taught courses. Grade Requirements:

  • Applicants should possess at least an Upper Second Class Honours (2:1) undergraduate degree in a subject related to their proposed research area, like biochemistry or ecology. Those without a proposed supervisor agreeing to support the application will be rejected, so this connection is crucially required before applying.

English Language Requirements:

  • Applicants from non-English-speaking countries must score 6.5 overall in IELTS (Academic), with no less than 6.0 in each section, or submit equivalent accepted secure English language test scores.
