Entry Requirements 

Grade Requirements:

• Applicants must have a UCAS tariff between 120-128 points. 

• Students will need BBB - ABB grades in A-level subjects.

• Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma with a DDM grade. 

English Proficiency: 

• All students who are non-native speakers of English require proof of English language proficiency, equivalent to an overall IELTS score of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each band.

• Those who do not have the required IELTS score can apply for pre-sessional English courses to achieve this level.

Cost of Study

The BA in Business and Finance at the University of Hertfordshire is available to international students for a fee of £15,965 per year, offering fantastic value for high-quality education. This is provisional and subject to change as fees may be higher in future years for both new and returning students. 

Scholarships

The University of Hertfordshire offers several scholarships specifically for international students to assist with tuition fees. One notable opportunity is the Chancellor's International Scholarship, which provides a tuition fee reduction ranging from £500 to £4,000 for eligible applicants. This scholarship is available to international fee-paying students who have applied and been offered a place to study at the university.  

Another option is the Undergraduate Tri Annual Scholarship. This offers a tuition fee discount of £1,500 for each year of study, up to a total of £4,500 over a three-year course or £6,000 for a four-year course. This scholarship is automatically awarded to eligible undergraduate international students enrolling for the first time in September 2025.
