Overview

This course aims to produce business professionals who can oversee business operations on an international scale. Since national borders no longer hinder business operations and organisations expand beyond the local market, there's a high demand for skilled international business managers.

During the BA International Business Management programme at the University of Gloucestershire, students will cover all aspects of business management including business law, marketing principles, and financial information. Additionally, the University provides a team of experts with valid experience in the industry.

This course adopts a unique teaching and learning approach that includes scheduled lectures, seminars, presentations, case study analysis and work simulations. Assessment is through individual and group work, examinations, and projects.

Here are the standard entry requirements to study BA International Business Management at the University of Gloucestershire:

Grade requirements 

Applicants need a minimum of 104 UCAS tariff points from either of these qualifications and English Language or Literature and Maths Grade 4/C in GCSE (or equivalent) are normally required.

Applicants must have a minimum BCC grade at A levels, at least DMM at BTEC, and/or merit in T-Level.

English Proficiency

  • Non-native English speakers may need to demonstrate proficiency in the language, typically through an IELTS score of at least 6.0. TOEFL or other equivalents are also allowed.

Scholarships

The University of Gloucestershire understands that applicants come from different financial backgrounds and many (particularly international students), may be unable to pay the tuition fee. For this, the university provides students with financial support through discounts, bursaries, and scholarships.

An example is the Global Scholarship. This is a £1,500 tuition fee waiver deducted from the first year’s tuition fee at the point of offer. It is for new, self-funded international students studying full-time for at least 2 semesters.
