MSc Computing Science

University of East Anglia UEA

Course overview

The University of East Anglia MSc Computing Science course is for people who already have a degree but aren't from a computing background. The course is designed to help them start a career in technology. It teaches the basic skills first, like how to write applications (programming), build websites, and manage databases. You don't need any previous experience with computers to join this program.

Later in the course, you will learn about advanced topics such as secure software development, artificial intelligence, data mining, and machine learning. Students’ progress will be assessed through examinations, written assignments, practical demonstrations, and a significant individual dissertation project, which allows students to apply their knowledge in depth.
