MSc Biotechnology and Bioengineering

University of East Anglia UEA

Course overview

This Master's degree in Biotechnology and Bioengineering will teach students how to apply these subjects to address major global issues, such as energy, health, and pollution. They will gain a strong understanding of the core ideas and get valuable hands-on experience. The course focuses on sustainability and how these methods are used in real companies. Because UEA is known for its excellent science research and is next to the top research centres at the Norwich Research Park, you'll have access to great resources.

Students will learn through taught classes, including lectures, workshops, and lab sessions, while also building essential skills like presentation and time management. Their progress is checked using formal exams, written coursework, and presentations. The course finishes with a significant, independent research project that you will do with a research expert at the University or a partner institute.
