BEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering With In Industry

Course overview

This four-year BEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering with Year in Industry degree is officially approved by the IET and trains skilled engineers. The course teaches students how to fix major world issues, such as future power generation and the growth of digital systems. In the first year, they take an integrated course to learn the basic ideas of all engineering subjects. This gives them a strong, complete foundation before they start focusing on their special area.

Starting in the second year, students will focus on subjects like power electronics and electric motor systems. Their third year is a required Year in Industry, during which students will secure a job placement to apply what they've learned in the real world. Their work is checked through regular assignments, written reports, team design projects, and regular exams. In their final year, students will complete one large individual project.
