MSc Digital and Social Media Marketing
Course overview
MSc Digital and Social Media Marketing at the University of Dundee provides students with the knowledge of the conventional marketing principles and the latest digital practices. The students will learn to create content, apply digital tracking tools, and analyse data, which will enable them to operate in the rapidly changing environment of global digital and social media marketing. The course would be well-suited for technically skilled people who are interested in brand strategy, storytelling, and platform consumer interactions.
The possibility of attaining a good practical experience is also one of the major aspects of the course. This could be done by going through an eight-week international internship or a practical project with one of the major organisations, and this would enable students to use/apply what they have been taught to real-world problems. The programme is approved by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and is aimed at the development of the necessary skills (strategic planning, problem-solving, cross-cultural communication) that are most appreciated by employers in different sectors.
