MSc International Business Management

Course Overview

The MSc International Business Management at London Metropolitan University is for people who want to advance their careers in global business. The programme offers a comprehensive understanding of international business operations, focusing on strategic management, digital marketing, and leadership in diverse settings.  

A unique part of the program is a live business simulation, where students run a virtual global company to improve their decision-making skills. Students can also choose to either write a dissertation or work on a real consultancy project, helping them apply what they've learned to real-world situations.

MSc International Business Management at London Metropolitan University is conducted through lectures, workshops, and tutorials, amounting to nine hours per week, complemented by 31 hours of independent study. Assessments include group work, presentations, reports, and a choice between a dissertation and a consultancy project. The program offers flexible class times and awards both an MSc and a CMI Level 7 Diploma.

Entry Requirements

Applicants are required to submit a personal statement explaining their reasons for applying to the course and any relevant academic or professional experiences. A reference from an academic or employer is also necessary.  You equally have the option of uploading your CV to highlight your work experience.

Grade Requirements:

  • Applicants will require a minimum of a lower second class (2.2) undergraduate honours degree (or equivalent) in any subject discipline.
  • Applicants with a different degree are considered if they possess relevant work experience in business or management.  

English Proficiency:

  • Applicants will need an IELTS qualification with an Overall score of 6.0, having a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
  • Other equivalent English test scores like PTE and TOEFL are also accepted by the university.

Cost of Study

The tuition fee for the MSc International Business Management programme is £20,500 for international students.

Scholarships

London Met offers the International Bright Futures Scholarship, a £3,000 reduction in tuition fees for eligible international postgraduate students.

Other available scholarships include Chevening Scholarships, the International Students House and London Met Postgraduate Scholarship, which may cover tuition and accommodation for students from selected countries.
