MSc Cancer Immunotherapy

Course Overview

The London Metropolitan University MSc Cancer Immunotherapy provides you with an understanding of conventional cancer therapies such as surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy, as well as the fields of cancer biology and oncology. The curriculum will provide you with a deep understanding of the molecular targets of anticancer drugs and the evolution of drug therapies.

The programme also covers new areas of immunotherapy, including monoclonal antibodies, DNA vaccines, and adoptive T-cell therapy. The course is taught by experienced researchers from the Cellular and Molecular Immunology Research Centre. The final assessment is a research project with an oral defence.

Entry Requirements for Pakistani Students

Candidates are required to submit a personal statement in which they discuss their reasons for applying for the course and other relevant information regarding their studies. Grade Requirements:

  • Applicants should have a UK first degree (or an equivalent qualification) of at least a lower second-class (2:2).
  • Relevant subjects include pharmacology, biomedical science, biological science, or medical genetics.

English Proficiency:

  • IELTS overall score of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in all sections.
  • Other equivalent qualifications such as TOEFL and PTE are also accepted.

Cost of Study

The annual tuition fee for the MSc Cancer Immunotherapy at London Metropolitan University is £20,000 for international students.

Scholarships

The university offers various scholarships to help students with their studies. The International Bright Futures Scholarship provides a £3,000 tuition fee reduction for eligible international students with an overseas fee status. The EU Bright Futures Scholarship provides a tuition fee reduction for eligible EU students.
