Course Overview

The LLB Graduate Law at London Metropolitan University is an intensive one-year postgraduate course for students who want to get a law degree quickly. The programme combines a Graduate Diploma in Law and a Graduate Law (Top-Up) course. It will give students a full understanding of the English legal system and teach them important professional skills like legal research and presentation.

Entry Requirements for Pakistani Students

Candidates are required to submit a personal statement in which they discuss their reasons for applying for the course and other relevant information regarding their studies. Grade Requirements:

  • Applicants need at least a lower second-class (2:2) undergraduate degree from a recognised university.
  • Relevant work experience may also be considered.

English Proficiency:

  • Applicants from non-English speaking backgrounds are required to have an Academic IELTS score of at least 7.0 overall, with a minimum of 6.5 in each component.

Cost of Study

The tuition fee for international students for the course is £9,000.

Scholarships

The International Bright Futures Scholarship of £3,000 is available for international postgraduate students who are classified as fee-paying students and hold an offer for a full-time, full-degree programme at one of the university's London campuses. Another option is the Prompt Payment Discount, which offers up to £2,500 off your tuition fees if you pay a certain deposit amount by the given deadline. This discount can be combined with other scholarships, such as the International Bright Futures Scholarship, if you are eligible for both.

London Metropolitan University graduates are also eligible for a 20% discount on tuition fees for further studies. Additionally, there are other scholarships based on nationality or specific programmes, such as the Chevening Scholarships (a UK government programme for international applicants) and scholarships for students from particular countries like Canada, Norway, the USA, and Latin America.
