BEng Electronic Engineering and Internet of Things including foundation year

Course Overview

The BEng Electronic Engineering and Internet of Things (including foundation year) at London Metropolitan University is a great choice if you do not have the basic qualifications needed to start a three-year degree. This four-year course includes a built-in foundation year, and you will graduate with the same degree and title as students on the standard course.

Your foundation year will help you improve your study skills while you learn fundamental concepts in electronics, digital systems, and mathematics. This year is shared with students from other foundation year courses, so you will also get a broader perspective on other fields in the electronics and computing sector. If you decide to change your specialism at the end of the foundation year, you will have the flexibility to do so.

In the following three years, you will study the same course content and have the same choice of modules as students on the standard Electronic Engineering and Internet of Things BEng degree. The course will give you the knowledge and skills for careers in industries like telecommunications, healthcare, and automotive.
