The Liverpool John Moores University BEng Mechanical Engineering is a professionally accredited undergraduate degree programme that aims to equip you with a thorough grounding in the scientific fundamentals and advanced design technology to be a successful engineer. You also have the option of undertaking an industrial placement after the second year to gain valuable professional experience. High-achieving students in the first two years have the chance to transfer to the MEng programme.
Entry requirements
To be enrolled, you need to submit a personal statement and a relevant academic and/or employer reference. You can also upload their CV to show your work experience.

You need a minimum of 80 UCAS tariff points, including A-levels, T-levels, BTECs, and the International Baccalaureate. The university accepts International qualifications that are equivalent to A-levels.

If you are from a non-English speaking background, you need to have an IELTS overall score of 6.0, with no section less than 5.5, or an equivalent qualification such as TOEFL and PTE.
