BA Interior Architecture with Foundation Year

Course Overview

The BA Interior Architecture with Foundation Year prepares students for careers that require critical thinking and creativity. This programme includes a foundation year to prepare students for the main coursework. They will also learn how to use their imaginative skills to design and build structures suitable for indoor use. Students will learn the processes involved in designing the interior spaces of buildings, using art and science to create meaningful structures.

In this course, students will also learn how to examine and adapt the layout of a building to create comfortable and safe spaces. Students in this course need a balance of art and science, as they will apply their artistic skills and knowledge of scientific methods to create unforgettable designs that beautify the interior of buildings. Learning is through lectures, seminars, interactive workshops, exhibitions, and conferences. Assessment methods include periodic tests, quizzes, examinations, and a final-year project.

English Proficiency:

  • International students need an overall IELTS score of 6.0, with no component below 5.5.
  • Another accepted English test includes TOEFL.
