BSc Biochemistry with Neuroscience

The BSc Biochemistry with Neuroscience at Keele University is a programme accredited by the Royal Society of Biology. The programme explores the relationship between biochemistry and the nervous system, to help students gain an understanding of how molecules and cells support brain function. Students will benefit from a comprehensive laboratory programme to develop key skills in different biochemical and molecular biology techniques.

The students will study key topics including cell signalling, gene expression, neuropharmacology, metabolism, proteins, and their relationship to neurological diseases such as diabetes and Alzheimer's. Grade Requirements:

• Applicants should have ABB at A level, including B in Chemistry and another science.
• Alternatively, an Access to HE Diploma or a DDM in a BTEC Extended Diploma in applied science is accepted.

English Proficiency:

• Applicants who do not speak English as their first language need an overall IELTS score of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each part.
• Alternative equivalent tests, such as the PTE or TOEFL, are also accepted.

The tuition fee for this course is £17,700 per year for international students. Tuition fees are reviewed annually and are subject to change.
