BSc Physiotherapy

The Glasgow Caledonian University BSc Physiotherapy programme aims to develop graduates into innovative and problem-solving practitioners. Students will acquire a scientific outlook and gain experience in treating patients across various settings, including neurorehabilitation, musculoskeletal conditions, respiratory care, and industrial environments. This programme prepares individuals to become highly capable and effective healthcare professionals.

Learning methods in this course include practical sessions with other students, visits to the clinical simulation lab, field trips, extensive practice education placements, and e-learning. Students also undertake an elective placement, which can be in the UK or abroad. In this course, students are assessed through examinations, class tests, essays, management reports, case studies, presentations, and group work. 

Upon successful completion, graduates can apply for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and the course is accredited by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).

Grade Requirements: 

• For 2025 admission, standard entry requirements are 147 UCAS tariff points, including A Levels at AABBB, Scottish Higher at BCCC or equivalent, including Higher in two sciences. 
• A-level equivalent international qualifications are also accepted.

English Proficiency: 

• If an applicant's primary language is not English, they must provide evidence of English proficiency by having an IELTS score of 7.0, with no component score below 6.5. 
• Other equivalent test scores, such as TOEFL and PTE, are also accepted.

The annual tuition fee for international students taking the BSc Physiotherapy at Glasgow Caledonian University is  £15,200.
