Overview
MSc Computing at De Montfort University focuses on current tools and techniques in modern computer science. It equips students with practical skills and professional understanding for a successful career within the computing industry.

- Applicants will normally hold an undergraduate degree at 2:2 honours or above in a relevant subject. Relevant subjects include Computing, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Software Engineering, and Computer Science.
- Alternatively, relevant equivalent qualifications are accepted.
English Proficiency:
- Applicants who do not speak English as their first language need an overall IELTS score of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
- Accepted alternatives include PTE or TOEFL iBT
Cost of Study
The tuition fee for the MSc Computing programme for the 2025/26 academic year is £18,100 per year for international students. Tuition fees are reviewed annually and may change.
Scholarships
