MEng Computer Systems Engineering

The MEng Computer Systems Engineering at Coventry University is designed to prepare students for professional roles that integrate hardware and software. The programme allows for a smooth progression from the BEng path.

Students will learn about engineering mathematics, engineering design, analogue and digital systems, electronic system design, manufacturing, testing and embedded system design and development. Students will learn to design and integrate computer hardware and software for different computer systems.

The methods of teaching include lectures, seminars, lab, workshops, online activities and group work for 15 -18hours weekly. Assessment methods include essays, group work, presentations, reports, projects, coursework, and exams. Students can also opt for a placement year.

Coventry University is a public research institution in Coventry, England. It was known as Lanchester Polytechnic from 1970 to 1987, then Coventry Polytechnic until it gained university status in 1992.

Grade Requirements:

• Applicants are required to have 128 UCAS tariff points (an ABB at A Level)
• Alternatively, relevant equivalent qualifications are considered. 

English Proficiency:

• Applicants who are non-English speakers need an IELTS score of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
• Alternatively, other tests such as TOEFL or PTE are also accepted.

The tuition fee for this course at Coventry University is £19,850 per year for international students. Tuition fees are reviewed annually and may change.

Coventry University awards scholarships to international students to support them financially. Undergraduate scholarships worth up to £6,000 spread across the first three years are offered to applicants who have completed the enrollment process and meet eligibility requirements.
