BSc Cyber Security

BSc (Hons) Cyber Security at Buckinghamshire New University teaches you how to protect computer systems, data, and people from cyber threats. The course follows what employers need and supports the UK’s goal to improve cyber safety.

You will learn how to use the right tools and techniques to stop cyber attacks and manage risks. Grade Requirements:

• Applicants are expected to possess a UCAS tariff score of 88 - 112 points. This could be obtained through qualifications such as A-Levels, T-Levels, BTEC or access to a Higher Education course in a relevant discipline. 

English Requirements:

• Non-native speakers of English will need to demonstrate sufficient proficiency in English. To do this, they must have an IELTS Academic score of 6.0 with at least 5.5 in each component. 
• Alternative equivalent tests, such as TOEFL iBT, PTE Academic, and so on, are also accepted. 

The tuition fee for the 2025/2026 academic year to study the BSc in Cyber Security at Buckinghamshire New University is £15,150. Fees are paid annually and are subject to change.

BNU provides several scholarship opportunities and financial aid options to reward outstanding students and ease their financial burden. One such scholarship is the Vice Chancellor’s International Student Scholarship, which awards up to £1,500 towards tuition fee reduction in the first year. To be eligible, applicants must be self-funding and the programme of study must be at least one year in duration.
