BA Animation

The BA (Hons) Animation degree at Buckinghamshire New University is a practical and industry-focused programme designed to equip students with the skills and expertise required for a successful career in animation. Buckinghamshire New University, founded in 1891 and granted university status in 2007, is a progressive institution with multiple campuses. Grade Requirements: 

• Applicants need a UCAS tariff score of 88 - 112. This usually requires a minimum of two full A-levels (or equivalent qualifications), 
• For those considering a Foundation Year, the tariff requirement is 32 - 56.

English Proficiency: 

• Applicants need an IELTS score of 6.0 overall, with no individual component score lower than 5.5, or submit recognised equivalent test scores. 
• PTE and TOEFL are also accepted (they must be recent).

The tuition fees for the BA (Hons) Animation programme for international students for the Academic Year 2025-2026 are £15,150 per year.

Buckinghamshire New University offers several scholarships for international undergraduate students. New self-funded international students may qualify for a scholarship of £1,500 in their first year of study. This can sometimes be structured to provide £1,500 upon enrolment, £1,500 upon successful progression to Level 5 (Year 2), and £2,000 upon progression to Level 6 (Year 3), for a total of up to £5,000. Additionally, an early payment fee reduction of £500 is available if the full tuition fee (of at least £15,000) is paid by August 1, 2025, for September 2025 starters.
