MBA Information Management

Course Overview

The MBA Information Management programme at Bangor University is designed to help students develop a solid understanding of the IT and computing industry, preparing them to become capable executives within the sector. This course is intended for students who have little or no experience in computer science. Applicants who already hold a degree in computer science or a related subject are advised to apply for one of the Master's programmes offered by the School of Computer Science.

The course aims to equip graduates with a set of management skills and knowledge, along with a strong foundation in information management, information technology, and its practical use in business. This programme is accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), allowing students to graduate with both a Master’s degree from Bangor University and a Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership.

Entry Requirements for Pakistani Students

Applicants without a degree may still be considered if they hold a suitable professional qualification and have relevant work experience. Each application is assessed on an individual basis, taking into account factors such as age, work background, and overall achievements.

Grade Requirements: 

Applicants for the MBA in Information Management programme are normally required to have a second-class honours degree (2:2) in a relevant subject, such as business or science, from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification from another institution.

English Proficiency:

Non-native English speakers need a minimum IELTS score of 6.0, with no less than 5.5 in each section. TOEFL and Pearson Academic (PTE) are also accepted.

Cost of Study

The tuition fees for international students enrolling in the MBA Information Management programme at Bangor University for the 2025/26 academic year are £20,500.
