BSc Creative Technologies
Course overview
The three-year BSc Creative Technologies at Bangor University programme focuses on blending computing skills with creative, design expertise, and knowledge of new media. The curriculum aims to equip students with the technical skills to develop programs and the creative insight necessary for fields such as animation, film, and gaming. The course benefits from academic staff with a worldwide reputation in research across graphics and visualisation.
Learning is primarily practical, taking place in immersive environments, networks, and high-spec labs, including the University's fabLAB for digital prototyping and manufacturing. Students gain extensive hands-on experience by applying their skills to live briefs and real client projects, such as designing apps.
