Southampton Solent University is based in the city of Southampton in England and was founded in 2005. As of 2021, it had 11,340 students, giving those who join it a sizeable community in which to study, meet people and settle into life in the UK. For international students weighing up where to continue their education, it offers the chance to study at a relatively young institution in an English city. Scholarships are available, and these can be an important consideration for students planning the financial side of studying abroad.
