MSc Public Health

The MSc Public Health course at Middlesex University is designed to prepare students to work as public health practitioners. It provides a strong foundation of both practical and theoretical skills, helping students to move easily into a professional career. Grade Requirements:

• Applicants should have a 2:2 honours degree or an equivalent qualification in a suitable subject such as Medicine, Nursing, Psychology, Statistics, Dentistry, or Biosciences.
• Alternatively, if they do not have a formal qualification, they can be considered if they have at least three years of work experience in a senior position related to public health.

English Proficiency:

• Applicants who are not from an English-speaking background will need to provide proof of their English language skills.
• The requirement is an IELTS score of 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 6.0 in each section.

The tuition fee for international students for this one-year, full-time course is £17,100.

While there are no scholarships made specifically for the MSc Public Health course, international students can apply for general scholarships offered by Middlesex University. Students can only be awarded one scholarship, even if they are eligible for more than one.

Some of the scholarships international students may be eligible for include the Regional or International Merit Award, which is for talented students with high academic performance and offers up to £2,000 towards first-year tuition fees. The Alumni Postgraduate Award gives a 20% fee reduction for all former Middlesex University students. The Chevening Scholarship, funded by the British Government, can cover students' postgraduate tuition fees. The Commonwealth Scholarship covers course fees, airfares, and a living allowance. Finally, the European Academic Awards are for students with strong academic results, offering an award of £1,000 to £7,000.
