BSc Speech and Language Therapy
Course overview
This three-year degree will train students to become skilled Speech and Language Therapists. They will learn how to work with both children and adults, gaining the practical and professional abilities required to register with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists (RCSLT) after graduation.
Students' learning combines classroom theory with hands-on, practical teaching, including the use of modern simulation facilities. They will complete many clinical placements in diverse settings across North Wales to get real-world experience. Their performance will be watched through a variety of ways, like examinations, verbal exams based on patient cases, and practical tests during their placements.
