BSc Computer Game Development

Course Overview

This programme would equip you with the skills required to operate in the game development industry. In this course, you will have solid skills in technical and project management and have practical experience in programming, game design, and the use of industry-standard software and tools. The course curriculum aims at building a professional technical portfolio reflecting your skills to prospective employers.

Entry Requirements for Egyptian Students

Applicants need to submit a personal statement, a relevant academic and/or employer reference is also required, and students have the option to upload their CV along with their applications to demonstrate their work experience.

Grade Requirements:

  • Applicants need a minimum of 96-112 UCAS Tariff points, and this can be achieved through various qualifications, including A Levels (CCC to BBC) or a Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (MMM to DMM).

English Proficiency:

  • Applicants from non-English speaking backgrounds need an overall score of 6.0 in IELTS (with no individual skill score below 5.5) or must submit an equivalent test score.

Cost of Study

The full-time undergraduate tuition fee for international students for the 2025/26 academic year is £11,750 per year.

Scholarships

Wrexham University offers a variety of scholarships and bursaries to assist students with their studies. The First Generation Opportunity Scholarship is available for undergraduate students who are the first in their families to attend university. This is a £1,000 cash award, and a limited number of these scholarships are available. The university also offers a Care Leaver Award and other grants depending on an individual's personal circumstances.
