MSc International Business and Development

University of Sussex

Course overview

The MSc International Business and Development programme at the University of Sussex carefully looks at the important link between global economic actions, foundational business principles, and international business policies, along with how these affect sustainability and development. It uses the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a framework to teach international business concepts and strategic management, preparing students to tackle complicated global challenges with ease.

Students will gain practical experience through a real-life consulting project, understanding how different environments influence business strategies and their engagement with various countries. This course is a joint effort between the University of Sussex Business School and the School of Global Studies, with assessments usually including written assignments, presentations, and a dissertation. Additionally, the Business School aligns with the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME).
