University of Sussex

Course overview

In this LLB, students will develop their knowledge of the connection between the US and UK legal systems. They will also explore the history, politics, culture and literature of the Americas. In their year abroad, students will experience a new culture and legal system first-hand. They will be taught by research-active faculty and become part of a vibrant community with an active student law body.

This course satisfies the academic component of Bar training (subject to minimum pass marks and number of attempts). This degree acts as a gateway to further qualification as both a solicitor and a barrister.
