BEng Electronic Engineering

The BEng Electronic Engineering at the University of Surrey teaches students how to design, build, operate and maintain power systems, telecommunications networks and computing infrastructure. They will also learn to create electronic systems that are essential to industry, health and entertainment sectors.

The programme focuses on providing students with the essential training to become qualified electronic engineers capable of developing modern systems. Students will study programming for engineering, electronics principles, and applied mathematics to solve technical engineering problems.

Grade Requirements:

• Applicants are also expected to have qualifications equivalent to A-levels at ABB in subjects such as Mathematics, Physics or Technology.

English Proficiency:

• Applicants from non-English speaking backgrounds need an IELTS score of 6.0 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component, or provide an equivalent recognised English language test score like TOEFL or PTE.

For international students, the tuition fee for the BEng Electronic Engineering course at the University of Surrey is £27,000.

The University of Surrey provides various scholarships and bursaries to help eligible postgraduate students. These include a £2,000 early payment discount for international students who fund their studies.
