Course Overview

The BSc Nursing (Top-Up) at the University of Sunderland is a one-year full-time course or two years part-time. This course is created for registered nurses from different parts of the world.

Entry Requirements for Egyptian Students

Applicants will have to submit transcripts or certificates of previous qualifications, a signed application form, a passport or proof of identity, work experience, and a personal statement. Applicants for this course may also be interviewed.

Grade Requirements:

  • People who want to study this course should be registered nurses or hold a Higher Education Diploma in Nursing (or its equivalent).
  • For those who hold a Level 4 nursing qualification, they must be registered with the UK NMC or have evidence of UK-accredited academic Continuing Professional Development (CPD) amounting to at least 20 credits at Level 5.
  • Those who do not meet these qualifications have the option of taking one of the foundation pathways.

English Proficiency:

  • Applicants whose first language is not English will have to show proof of English ability by having at least a 6.0 overall score in IELTS (with at least 5.5 in each component).

Cost of Study

The tuition fee for BSc Nursing (Top-Up) for international students at the University of Sunderland is £16,500 every year. This fee can be reviewed every year by the university.
