BSc Nutrition and Human Health

Course Overview

The University of Suffolk BSc Nutrition and Human Health is a three-year, full-time undergraduate degree that aims to train competent nutritionists by exploring the science of nutrition as a cornerstone of health, well-being, and longevity. The programme covers areas such as biochemistry, metabolism, food systems, dietary analysis, and the role of diet in disease prevention and health management.

Entry Requirements for Egyptian Students

To be enrolled, applicants need to submit a personal statement in which they discuss their reasons for applying to the course and provide other relevant information about their academic background and studies. A satisfactory Health check and an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check are mandatory conditions of any offer. Two satisfactory references are also required as part of the application process.

Grade Requirements

  • Candidates need a minimum of 112 UCAS tariff points (or above), equivalent to BBC at A-Level, DMM at BTEC, or Merit at T-Level.
  • Other international qualifications equivalent to A-Levels are accepted.

English Proficiency

  • Candidates whose first language is not English need to have an IELTS score of 6.0 overall, with no component score below 5.5, or submit equivalent acceptable test scores.

Cost of Study

The annual tuition fee for international students on the BSc Nutrition and Human Health at the University of Suffolk is £15,690.
