BSc Nutrition and Human Health

The University of Suffolk BSc Nutrition and Human Health is a three-year, full-time undergraduate degree that aims to train competent nutritionists by exploring the science of nutrition as a cornerstone of health, well-being, and longevity. The programme covers areas such as biochemistry, metabolism, food systems, dietary analysis, and the role of diet in disease prevention and health management.

Students learn through theoretical study, practical work in the laboratory, and a chance to engage in research projects with the use of research-level facilities of the university, such as a metabolic suite. The course is accredited by the Association of Nutrition and offers an optional work-based module to enable the students to acquire relevant experience and improve their professional skills.

Grade Requirements

• Candidates need a minimum of 112 UCAS tariff points (or above), equivalent to BBC at A-Level, DMM at BTEC, or Merit at T-Level.
• Other international qualifications equivalent to A-Levels are accepted.

English Proficiency

• Candidates whose first language is not English need to have an IELTS score of 6.0 overall, with no component score below 5.5, or submit equivalent acceptable test scores.

The annual tuition fee for international students on the BSc Nutrition and Human Health at the University of Suffolk is £15,690.
