Overview
The BSc (Hons) Sport Management degree prepares students with the necessary knowledge in marketing, leadership, finance, and business principles, directly focusing on the sports industry. By combining theoretical learning and practical experience gained through placements and partner projects, students are well-prepared for a global sports career.
This course studies the impact of sport on our society and how effective sport management can increase access. Students learn through face-to-face and online activities with personal study and are assessed through exams, essays, reports, projects, portfolios, case studies, practical tasks, and presentations. Students have an option to choose a work placement year to study abroad, which helps build practical experience and an international perspective.
Entry Requirements
Candidates must submit a personal statement, academic or employer reference, and optionally, a CV to build a picture of their work experience.
Grade Requirements:
- Candidates need 112–120 UCAS points, with a minimum of two A-levels, with A-levels at BBB-BBC.
- The International Baccalaureate needs 25 points for 2025 entry.
English Proficiency:
- Candidates need an IELTS score of 6.0 overall, with no component score below 5.5.
- TOEFL and PTE are also accepted.
- Students can take a pre-sessional English programme to reach the necessary language requirement before starting their course.

For international students, the tuition fee for the BSc Sport Management programme is £17,200 per year.
Scholarships
