The BEng Electronic Systems Engineering (Top-Up) at the University of Portsmouth is a one-year programme designed to prepare students to be ahead in technological advancement. Students will gain expertise in signal processing and Artificial Intelligence (AI), which enables them to design and improve the electronic systems used in everyday life.
The learning covers areas such as advanced electronic systems, digital signal processing, foundation of artificial intelligence, project planning and management and supply chain management. The students will be able to bring designs and prototypes to life by combining the knowledge of computer science and electronic systems principles.
This programme involves practical applications ìn industry-standard labs and equipment. The teaching methods include lectures, workshops and practical sessions, while assessments are done through coursework, exams and project work.
