MSc Healthcare Management
Course overview
MSc Healthcare Management at the University of Kent will get students ready to lead, manage, and create new ideas in healthcare organisations globally. The course teaches students how healthcare systems work and looks at current major problems like unfair access to health (health inequality), changes in technology, and ensuring patients are safe. Students gain key skills in leadership, strategy, finance, and policy-making. The teaching is based on the newest research and is delivered by experts at Kent Business School, which has three highly respected professional approvals (Triple Crown accreditation).
Students' studies focus on solving real healthcare problems by using case studies, working on team projects, and practising decisions in simulated situations. The way students are marked is practical and does not use standard written exams. Instead, it checks how they use their knowledge through writing business reports, judging policy ideas, and giving presentations. Students also get the chance to use their skills in a real consultancy project or a summer internship to gain important practical experience.
