MSc Aerospace Engineering
University of HertfordshireUniversity of Hertfordshire, Hatfield
Course overview
The MSc Aerospace Engineering at the University of Hertfordshire teaches students how airplanes and spacecraft work and how to manage engineering projects. Students learn about things like how air flows over wings, how aircraft fly, what materials they are made from, and how engines work. They do not just study theory, they also get hands-on practice. They use professional software, work in labs, and train on flight simulators to see how real aerospace systems behave.
Classes are taught in person and supported online through the StudyNet system, where students can find resources, tutorials, and talk with teachers and classmates. Students are assessed through coursework, design tasks, practical reports, and a final research project. By the end, graduates have both technical and management skills, preparing them for jobs such as aerospace engineer, project manager, or technical specialist.
