BA Architecture with Foundation Year

University of Greenwich

Course overview

The BA Architecture with Foundation Year equips students with ways of seeing, developing methods of critical thought, designing projects, and creative technical skills to support progression into the more in-depth study of architecture required over the subsequent three years of the degree. Alongside architecture-specific learning, they will gain a broad range of more general university skills to set them up for success at the undergraduate level of study across a broad spectrum of subjects.

Following on from Foundation Year, students will be able to either join the standard three-year architecture degree, graduating with the same award, or change subjects to pursue an alternative career and degree pathway. The BA Architecture with Foundation Year is accredited by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and the Architects Registration Board (ARB).
