LLM Information Technology and Intellectual Property Law
Course overview
This one-year, full-time Master of Laws (LLM) is a cutting-edge programme that explores two of the most critical legal fields in the modern era: law in the information age and the management of creativity and innovation in the digital sphere. Compulsory modules include the Globalisation of Intellectual Property Law and Internet Law and Governance, providing a strong foundation in international legal frameworks.
The programme emphasises student choice, allowing them to select optional modules from a range of topics, such as Competition and IP Law Intersections, or even modules from other UEA schools, like International Relations or Business. Assessment methods are varied, including both coursework and timed, exam-style formats to help students demonstrate their learning. The course culminates in a Dissertation on a topic of specific interest.
