LLB Law English NI - Accelerated Graduate Entry

University of Dundee

Course overview

This LLB Law (English/NI) - Accelerated Graduate Entry at the University of Dundee is a two-year law degree designed specifically for people who already have a degree in any subject. The course gives students focused training in the seven essential legal subjects they need to become a barrister. It also helps them get ready for the first part of the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE). By the end, they'll have the strong legal foundation needed to start their career as a lawyer in England, Wales, Northern Ireland, and other countries with similar laws.

Students will be taught through a blend of lectures and tutorials, plus group work, seminars, and independent study. A main aim is to help students develop the professional skills needed to be a successful lawyer: strong research, detailed analysis, problem-solving, and the ability to clearly present complex information. For hands-on experience, they can work at the University of Dundee Law Clinic. Plus, our Alumni Mentorship Programme gives them great career support.
